Mark Steel has one of the largest stress-relieving/post-weld heat treating facilities in the United States. At 24' x 24' x 120' long it is able to handle almost any job requirement.

The Cooperheat System is natural gas fired for low-cost operation and is capable of 48,000,000 BTU/HR heat input. It can generate and maintain temperatures up to 1650 degrees Fahrenheit.

The oven is computer operated for accurate time and temperature control. It is capable of recording up to 24 thermocouples simultaneously.

Mark Steel has extensive experience with A.S.M.E., AWS D1.1, ANSI B31.1/B31.3 and API 650 code stress-relieving and post-weld heat treating requirements.

The Railcar Carrier has a 200-ton capacity and is serviced by a 130-ton Gantry crane with an 82' span and 36' under the hook.
